Sophia Wortmann, from Lucky Livewires 4-H Club, Crofton explains the heritage, Standards of Perfection and poultry care information with the judge during the 4-H Poultry Show on Sunday morning at the Knox County Fair in Bloomfield. The fair saw record numbers of 4-H poultry and waterfowl exhibited this year.


Kaydence Jansen, Lucky Livewires 4-H Club, Crofton, gave her rabbit showmanship presentation at the 4-H Rabbit Show at the Knox County Fair this past Saturday morning in Bloomfield. During the presentation, exhibitors are asked to talk about the rabbit they are showing, the parts of a rabbit, as well as other details about their specific rabbit breed.

Mariah Dather is exhibiting her 4-H swine project hog with intensity during the 4-H Swine Show at the County Fair in Bloomfield this past weekend. Knox County is known traditionally as an outstanding livestock county fair, and even in the midst of a pandemic, the livestock numbers exhibited by 4-Hers and FFA members were strong.


Tuff Foxhoven, Crofton FFA, exhibits his beef animal during the FFA show at the Knox County Fair in Bloomfield. Along with 4-Hers, the county's FFA members were out in force at the county fair over the past weekend.
