The cattle market here, and across much of the U.S., is seeing historic record highs right now, but how long will the good prices last?
"Nobody has ever seen anything like this," said Matt Van Driel, owner of Verdigre Stockyaards, in Verdigre. "Prices are going up every week, and every day it's a higher price. "
These are exciting times and it's good to be in the cattle industry right now, he said. "Nobody has had an opportunity to sell cattle this high in their lifetime."
