A new salon offering a wide variety of hair services has opened on Second Street in Crofton.
Uniquely Designed officially opened at 1103 West Second Street.
The salon is owned by Unique Daneile Carter, a resident of Crofton who moved to the community with her husband, Chief John Carter, and son, and recently decided to open her third salon location.
Carter said she opened her first salon in Benkelman, Nebraska and then opened another in McCook before moving to and opening her salon Crofton.
Carter offers coloring, cuts and coifs at her shop. It is a full-service salon which takes care of the whole family, she said.
“I specialize in braiding, hair extensions, eye lash extensions, waxing and nails,” Carter said. “I love making people feel good about themselves and have been doing this for 10 years.”
She wants people to feel comfortable walking through the door and welcomes walk-ins as well as offering booked appointments.
“Things have really taken off pretty fast and are going awesome,” Carter said.
If you Google Unique Designs, Google will list the business as “temporarily closed.” Don’t be misled. Carter says she just hasn’t finished the verification process.
The salon is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments can be made online at www.Uniquelydsign.com (that is the correct spelling). Gift certificates are also available.
