Crofton’s American Legion baseball Juniors and Seniors teams are busy preparing for the upcoming season, practicing and getting the ballpark ready for action.
The park has been spruced up for the season, thanks to a clean up day last weekend with players and volunteers.
Head coach Jason Babcock is excited for the season and is looking forward to seeing the teams in action on the field. This year’s season will offer plenty of opportunities for local fans to take in the action, because a majority of the Legion games will be played at home, including two in-season tournaments at the home park in early June, along with Crofton hosting the Juniors Area Tournament in early July.
The season will kickoff at Wakefield on May 24. Here is the entire schedule.
All Junior games begin at 5:30 p.m. and Senior games will follow at 8 p.m., unless noted otherwise.
