The Crofton Deuces 10 and under baseball team played three games during the week of May 22nd through May 28th.

The team traveled on Monday, May 22 to Ponca where they played a doubleheader (a regular league game and a flex game).

All 11 players were at the game including Henry Bonertz, Evan Connot, Easton Foxhoven, Baker Jansen, Trystin Leader, Caden Luebbe, Grant Marsh, Gavin Mueller, Carter Morrison, Seeley Thunker, and Ty Wortmann.

The team had nice pitching performances from Leader, Bonertz, Mueller, Foxhoven, and Marsh. Several players logged inning as a catcher, and each person played in the infield at some point.
Offensively, the hitters did a better job of being aggressive as the games progressed. As baserunners, everyone was aggressive and did a nice job of focusing on what they needed to do.

On Friday, May 26th, Crofton traveled with eight players to Wynot where again they played well and had fun.

It was a little more difficult to play defense with only two players in the outfield, but the team did a nice job against a powerful offensive team.
Again, on offense, the Deuces hit the ball well and were aggressive on the base paths.
All three of these games were fun contests that provided the kids with several opportunities to learn and grow.

They face Fordyce/Wynot on Monday, May 29 in a Memorial Day showdown.
