Celebrating winning the last long set

The Crofton Lady Warriors traveled to Norfolk Catholic on Tuesday, September 26 for a
triangular against Norfolk Catholic and Lutheran High Northeast. They lost the first match against Norfolk Catholic (22-25, 19-25) and won against LHNE (25-23, 26-17).

The Lady Warriors were eager to play the Knights. Senior Ellie Tramp stated, "I felt excited, I was ready to take them on." During the match against Norfolk Catholic, Tramp, junior Sammie Allen, and sophomore Jaisie Janssen all got 1 ace. Junior Cassie Allen had 10 digs throughout the match. S. Allen and junior Jaida Allen both ended up getting 7 digs each. Janssen and Guenther both scored 6 kills while S. Allen and Tramp scored 5. S. Allen and J. Allen both had 12 assists.

Heading into the match against LHNE, the Warriors knew they were going to have to compete. Tramp said, "I knew how good they were and I knew I would have to try my best."


In the match against LHNE, S. Allen, Janssen, and J. Allen all got 1 ace. Senior Madelyn Eilers, Janssen, junior Lexi Wiebelhaus, and Tramp each scored 1 block, while Guenther scored 2. Tramp had 8 digs and C. Allen had 7. During this match Guenther got 8 kills and S. Allen and J. Allen both had 7 assists.

After the performance at the triangular the Lady warriors moved to 12-6 on the season.
