Seniors Robbie Fisher, Jace Foxhoven, and Jake Hochstein honor their parents on parents night.

The Warriors endured cold fall weather on Friday, October 6, crushing the Tri County Northeast Wolfpack 62-6.

Crofton is now second in wild card points in class D1, remaining undefeated. Junior Braxston Foxhoven said it feels amazing to be undefeated. He also stated, “We have no more up downs!” - which is a type of conditioning the team had to do in practice.

Early in the first quarter, with 10:12 left on the clock, senior Will Steffen ran in a 10-yard touchdown, and sophomore Jace Panning added a 2 point conversion. The score of the quarter remained 8-0 until 1:17 left  on the clock, when junior Wyatt Tramp scored a touchdown and Panning added another 2-point conversion.

Tramp's goal for the end of the season is to win the state championship and get 1,000 rushing yards in the regular season, he only needs 80 more yards to achieve this goal.
The Warriors had a slow start to the second quarter, with 6:01 left of the half, Panning ran a 64 yard touchdown and Steffen completed a pass to senior Seth Pinkelman for the 2-point conversion.

The Wolfpack then scored a touchdown by senior Hunter Heikes which would be their only score of the game. With only 12.8 seconds left on the clock, Tramp scampered into the end zone to end the half 32-6.

Although the Warriors led at the end of the half, Panning wasn’t satisfied, “I thought it went well, but thought we could have done better with consistency on offense.”

Early in the third quarter there was a delay of the game due to a player injury. After play resumed, at 7:29 on the clock Steffen ran 59 yards for a touchdown which left him feeling, as he said, “very tired.” Senior Robbie Fisher ran in the 2 point conversion. With 1:00 left in the third, Tramp ran 43 yards for a touchdown, and the 2 point conversion was no good.

Midway through the 4th quarter Fisher added another touchdown and scored the 2-point conversion.

To finish out that game freshman Tyson Jackson ran a 64-yard touchdown to end the game 62-6. Jackson stated, “It felt pretty good, and I’m glad I gave a good look to the coaches to show I can succeed in the future.”

The Warriors held the Wolfpack to only one touchdown with a strong defensive performance. Steffen led the team in tackles with six unassisted tackles. Junior Braxston Foxhoven led the team with six assisted tackles.

The Warriors take on the Wakefield Trojans Friday, October 13, for their last regular season game, in Wakefield at 7 p.m.
