The Little Lady Warriors had two amazing days of volleyball at the Crofton Halloween Volleyball Bash on Sundays, Oct. 19th and 26th.

The Halloween Bash was a fun volleyball experience where the 3rd-6th grade girls scrimmaged some out of town teams and played several fun Halloween themed volleyball games.

Before the fun day began the Crofton coaches got together and decorated the Crofton High School gym with some Halloween decorations. The volleyball girls then played in a couple scrimmages with some fun Halloween games in between where each player went home with a bag of treats or prizes.

“This is a fun way for our youth to finish up their volleyball season. Each team had their own Halloween themed outfits and some teams went all out this year,” said Michelle Kuchta, the 3rd and 4th grade Huskers coach. “I coached the Huskers volleyball team as the girls dressed up as present and former Nebraska players. As well as the other Crofton teams dressing up as a box of crayons, Team USA and the Ball-arinas.”

The Crofton youth coaches appreciated the teams that came to participate, Hartington Cedar Catholic 90s girls, Hartington Newcastle Fruit Spikers, Wynot Dr. Peppers, Wausa and Hartington Cedar Catholic Tie-Divers.

“Most of all thank you to the other Crofton youth volleyball coaches Laura Morrison, Tierney Mueller, Ashely Dickes, Chelsea Wagner, Jamie Bauch, Angie Connot and Jamie Tramp, the kids couldn’t do it without you.”

They also extended “our heartfelt thanks to our Crofton public school staff for their incredible support and dedication throughout the year. Your hard work in helping organize practices, events, and camps ensures that our youth have meaningful and enriching experiences. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and care you put into making every activity a success.”
