Members of the Niobrara Promoters attended a meeting of the Niobrara Community Foundation on Tuesday, June 4, to present a $5,000 check. This money was a portion of the Ladies Quarter Mania event proceeds.
Three U.S.S. Frank E. Evans survivors of the June 3, 1969 collision of the Evans and the Australian aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne, were in Niobrara Monday to attend the Third Annual June 3 Memorial Ceremony honoring the "Lost 74." Read more in this week's Tribune.

The N/V Cougar girls track and field team was crowned the 2024 Class D state champions at the state meet last weekend. Delani Runnels won the championship in the 3200 Meter. Read more in this week's edition.

The Missouri Sedimentation Action Coalition (MSAC) will hold its annual membership meeting in Niobrara, on Thursday, May 2 at 10 a.m. at the Ponca Tribal Headquarters Conference Room. An update will be given on the sediment collector pilot project planned.
